Stock 'Expert' Baffled When Asked to Explain What His Company Actually Does

Man, that audio feed started breaking up REAL quick the moment an actual question was asked.

Here we see a prime example of what you might call "shilling," wherein a finance bro - replete with the mandatory Patagonia vest (or maybe a Patagonia-inspired one since they literally told Wall Street d-bag to stop buying their brand because their values are completely unaligned with Patagonia's) and smug look on his face - comes onto CNBC to talk about how he just won big by betting on a company called Upstart Holdings. Everything is going great and he's hyping the ever-loving s--t out of the stock until the host asks him a very simple question - so what does this company DO?

This is the moment where you can actually see someone soil themselves in real-time as the 'expert' who's likely making a six- or seven-figure salary has absolutely zero answers to what ought to be a pretty easy question.
